賴德和，作曲家；1943 年出生於彰化。畢業於國立藝術專科學校（今國立臺灣藝術大學），1978 年獲 DAAD 獎學金赴奧地利，在奧福學院（Orff Institute）研習音樂教育，並在莫札特音樂院（Mozarteum in Salzburg）研習作曲。1984 年獲得第七屆吳三連文藝獎，與「雲門舞集」合作的《紅樓夢》獲國家文藝基金管理委員會的第十二屆國家文藝獎（1987）。2010 年再榮獲國家文化藝術基金會的第十四屆國家文藝獎。
LAI De-He was born in Changhua in 1943. He graduated from National College of the Arts (National Taiwan University of Arts). In 1978, Lai was awarded the DAAD grant to study in Austria, where he studied music education at the Orff Institute and composition at Mozareum in Salzburg. In 1984, he was awarded the Wu San-Lien Award. Lai collaborated with Cloud Gate Dance Theatre for its production “Dream of the Red Chamber,” which won the 12th National Award for Arts in 1987. Lai also won the 14th National Award for Arts in 2010.
