蔡佩倫 (1986)

蔡佩倫,1986年出生於日本福岡市,是臺灣單簧管演奏家及室內樂演奏家,活躍於臺灣、日本、美國、中國各地,並致力於現代音樂演奏及教學相關活動。 

蔡佩倫於2012年榮獲第18屆「日本沖繩新人演奏會」第二名優秀新人獎。她自2011年起活躍於國際樂壇,在20112013年間,受邀擔任加拿大班芙藝術中心(Banff Centre for Artsand Creativity)駐節藝術家;並於2014年受邀至德國科隆史托克豪森基金會(Stockhausen Foundation)研究及錄製史托克豪森的作品。她近年來應邀於亞洲作曲聯盟(Asian Composers League)、泰國國際作曲音樂節(Thailand International Composition Festival)、馬來西亞當代音樂節 (Malaysian Contemporary Festival)、上海及北京音樂院、美國國際單簧管音樂節(Mid-American Clarinet Festival)、韓國首爾國際電腦音樂節(Seoul Internationa lComputer Music Festival)等重要音樂活動演出。

蔡佩倫曾師事宋威德教授、林佩筠教授。2008畢業於國立臺北藝術大學音樂系,師事陳威稜教授。2011年畢業於美國西北大學(NorthwesternUniversity)音樂系研究所,師事史帝芬・柯恩(Steven Cohen)教授。2015年畢業於密蘇里大學堪薩斯分校(University of Missouri-Kansas City),以全額獎學金完成博士學位,師事珍・卡爾(Jane Carl)教授。

除了是專業演奏家,蔡佩倫也致力於音樂教育推廣。在留美期間,她除了攻讀學位,也於密蘇里大學堪薩斯分校(University of Missouri-Kansas City)擔任單簧管助理教師、室內樂講師,並於密蘇里大學社區藝術學院(UMKC Community Musicand Dance Academy )教授單簧管。她目前旅居日本,並任教於國際基督學院日本分校(Christian Academy in Japan)及東京中華學校(Tokyo Chinese School)

As a soloist and chamber musician, Tsai Pei-lun has performed widely throughout Taiwan, Japan, China, and the United States.

She made her international debut in 2011, and has received Second Prize Award in the 18th OKIDEN SUGARHALL Competition in 2012. In 2014 and 2015, she was an artist in residenceat Karlheinz Stockhausen Foundation. During 2011 to 2013, she was also an artist in residence at the Banff Music Centre, Canada. In recent years, Tsai was invited to perform at Malaysian Contemporary Festival (SMCC), ASEAN Nanning Music Festival, Thailand International, Composition Festival (TICF), Seoul International Computer Music Festival, and ICA Mid-American Clarinet Festival.In 2015, she was invited to give lectures in Beijing Central Conservatory of Music and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

Her mentors include Sung Wei-te and Lin Pei-yun, and William Chen in Taiwan; Steven Cohen at Northwestern University, where she received her Master’s degree in 2008; and Jane Carl at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she completed her D.M.A. on a full scholarship in 2015. Also, she has had additional studies with Henk Guittart and Suzanne Stephens.

During her years as a doctoral candidate, Tsai was an adjunct instructor of clarinet and chamber music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the University’s Community Music and Dance Academy.

She is currently based in Tokyo, serving on the faculty at the Christian Academy in Japan and Tokyo Chinese School.
