Celebrating art and raising charity fund for disaster relief
Starting from today (8/17), NCTA will donate NT$10 from every general admission ticket sold to typhoon victims
People from government and private sectors are dedicated to taking part in the disaster relief effort, in terms of making donations to purchase supplies, or volunteering for rescue operations in the disaster area. Everyone continues to express the love and support toward the relief effort of the “88 Flood Disaster”. Ilan, where NCTA is located, was on the path to be one of the worst-hit regions, but was fortunate enough to safely escape the disaster. In contrast, people of southern Taiwan suffered the worst flooding in history. NCTA will donate its employee’s one day salary, while inviting visitors to purchase general admission tickets and participate in the disaster relief effort. From today through the end of August, for every ticket purchased by visitors, NT10$ will be donated to “Taiwan World Vision” Morakot Typhoon Disaster Special Relief Fund to help victims rebuild their home.
