祖父施坤玉是設計與建造廟宇的大木匠司，父親施鎮洋承襲祖父設計工作的同時，也是一位專業的木雕師傅。少時接觸家業協助做二手工作，後擔任父親木雕傳習計畫助理，民國91年起開始傳統木雕習藝生涯，並於101-104年擔任施鎮洋傳統木雕傳習計畫之傳習藝生。
Shih is the grandchild of the prestige carpenter Master Shih Kun-yu and daughter of national treasure Shih Zhen-yang. She used to help with the family business as a deputy carpenter. After she became her father’s assistant for the inheritance program, she started learning and practicing wood carving since 2002.
